The Nest Cafe located at Crab Tree Hall is a hidden gem tucked away with spectacular views over Wensleydale towards Penhill. The beautiful rustic new-build cafe with its oak beams and gentle muted colour palette opened in August 2019. The Nest offers a touch of luxury with its very own rustic charm and is open Monday to Friday for snacks, lunches, teas & coffee and of course you will get a true Yorkshire welcome.
Open from 8.30 am till 4pm. Each day the offers a selection of delicious homemade treats all baked on site which often including Tara’s amazing brownies, blondies cakes and scones.

Lunches at The Nest are a real treat. the offering may vary day to day but rest assured only the freshest ingredients are used. If its a relaxing coffee with a view you have come for why not try one of our four new fun Latte flavours Beetroot,Matcha, Chai or Tumeric! .
So if you are looking to find that special place to relax and enjoy some delicious food with friends or family we are sure that The Nest will hit the spot ! You may even get to see our friendly Alpachas who live in the field at the side of the cafe! With notice we can also cater for groups and special events we can tailor a menu to suit your needs. We are only a relatively small café and we have a lot of customers who visit us regularly from the local offices so we always advise to book ahead of your visit to avoid disappointment.

Directions to The Nest
The Nest Café is located at Crabtree Hall Business Centre which is situated virtually alongside the A1, with approximate drive-times from both Northallerton and Richmond of 15 minutes, Ripon under 20 minutes, Darlington Teeside 20 minutes, Harrogate 35 minutes, York 45 minutes and Leeds 40 minutes. Further afield, Manchester is 1¾ hour’s drive, Edinburgh 3 hours and London just under 4 hours.
From the North
Exit the A1 at junction 52 Catterick and head straight on the A6055 towards Catterick Village follow that road for 3 miles you will go over back over the A1 on a bridge then take the next right hand turn towards Hackforth. Approximately 300 metres along this road take the first turning on the right leading to Crabtree Hall Business Centre follow the road right around past the buildings and there is car park towards the back where the Nest is located.
From the South
Exit the A1 at Leeming Bar J51 take th second exit onto the A6055 towards Catterick. Follow the road for about 2 miles then take the left hand turn towards Hackforth. Approximately 300 metres along this road take the first turning on the right leading to Crabtree Hall Business Centre follow the road right around past the buildings and there is car park towards the back where the Nest is located.
