This practical workshop will involve a mixture of workshop and group working. All hand outs are included.

WSS also provided a confidential waste destruction service for some old paperwork they no longer needed. Our client was provided with sacks and security tags to fill with waste documentation which was then collected and destroyed at a secure unit.  The shredded paper was then sent to be recycled. WSS have also offered to manage the documentation in storage and highlight any documents which reach a destruction date, thereby controlling the amount of paper being stored.

Nearly 80% said they’d managed to get as much work done as they usually do at home while working in one of the Colleagues on Tap pop-up offices for the day, and almost half said they’d actually improved on their usual productivity.

As an added bonus, over 90% also reported that they’d made new contacts and gained new knowledge while they worked, something that’s difficult to do from the home office! Participants learned from co-workers how their home-run businesses had gained from free services such as social media and cloud computing, and had been able to share experiences of networking, networks and working from home.
